Glad you liked the read Howard. I checked out Dr James Wilson and liked the extent that he covers adrenal fatigue. You'll definitely be reading more from me about this subject.

Thanks for the good read! I will be looking out for part two. Are you familiar with Dr. James Wilson? I think a lot of what he says in his book on adrenal fatigue goes along with this pretty well. I would definitely recommend checking out if you've got the time. Thanks again!

Hi Bob,
And thanks for your comment. Now if I get your question I would suggest this to you.

If your liver is saying something to you, and your mind is saying something else, work on getting your mind in order and your body will follow. Sometimes writing down goals about your exercise and diet will support your achievement of goals. Just keep doing more of what's right, more of what's right and it will grow and you'll wake up one day and go, wow! I've come a long way. Hope this helps!

Well, my liver heard you so loudly and clearly it grumbled at me... We know your right and it's all about getting started and keeping on top of it which is the hardest thing to do. Any comments on how to not stop doing what's right?

Annie,
Thank you for your comment and I love that combination of milk thistle and vitamin C. I wrote a post on the "classics" and vitamin c is one of my classic favorites.

Hi Karen,
I responded briefly to your question on my newstrition facebook, but thought to respond here too. When looking at the facts panel on a bar here's some quick tips from Meg. Make sure the net carbs are low i.e. 4, that would be an ideal bar for keeping normal blood sugar. Second, double check the type of sugar they're using is more of a sugar alcohol i.e. maltitol and xylitiol are good. Or a natural sugar which keep sugar grams low i.e. 11-14 grams would be good. Sodium would be excellent between 65-85 mg.. And keep protein to 10-15 grams per serving. You want protein, but not in mega amounts in a bar. Fiber should be in a bar and make sure you drink at least 10 oz of purified water when eating a bar like this. I have the best bars in town right here. Call anytime. Great to hear from you!

I look at the nutrition labels, and am not always sure what I'm reading or how exactly to interpret them. How do I know that the sodium level or sugar levels are too high in general or if they're too high for me? What do you mean by "mak[ing] sure the sweetner, protein, type of fat, fiber and carbohydrates are in a good balance"? How do I know what the good balance is?
