It’s good to get your bioflavonoids

You will usually see vitamin c with citrus bioflavonoids or just plain ole vitamin c and wonder, which one do I buy? First you probably look at the price and generally see the one without the bioflavonoids is cheaper so you think, ok. But then you must wonder, what are bioflavonoids? Maybe I will call them bf’s for the rest of this post as it’s easier to write, and they are best friends. Best friends to vitamin c that is.

Whenever you peel an orange, grapefruit, tangerine, lemonĀ or something citrus, you see those stringy, veiny looking pieces. Well those house the bioflavonoids. And to tell you funny enough, they are good for capillary strength so they are good for veins. This is one of their main functions in our bodies besides working together with vitamin c for better absorption of the vitamin c. Just wait till I get to vitamin c. Love vitamin c.

Ok, today, I want you to remember it’s wise to buy vitamin c with citrus bioflavonoids. At least that’s would I’d tell my children and clients. Just a note too, acerola cherries, blackberries and I’m sure some more fruits will come out to be more sources of these healing nutrients.

Keep an eye on making wise choices even during the holidays. Stay well….
