Alpha what?
Alpha lipoic acid that is. Another very, very popular antioxidant and rightly so as it has been shown to really keep levels of vitamin c and e up in the body. And has been touted as more potent than c or e. That’s up for debate. Fatvsthin is always looking at truth and fiction and I loathe singling something out and comparing to some real truths of longevity and respectibility in the nutrition world like with vitamin c.
But having said that, I must keep my mind open to maybe some new kids on the block offering such grand anti aging and detoxifying abilities in our bodies. So I speak on alpha lipoic acid in this regard. Hey, broccoli and spinach which I emphasize to most of my clients is right up there in ala(for short). Was popeye correct in saying eat your spinach? Absolutely.
So here we are back to talking about antioxidants and making sure you eat your greens. I will always continue back to encouraging you to eat healthy. But you could take a supplement of ala. I know some great ones. And by the way, it’s great for keeping healthy collagen in your skin which makes it a beauty product ladies and the men out there who want to continue looking great too.
But for now, I’m off to have a spinach salad…….and don’t forget your broccoli.
