Fall into your health even more
Soon we’re going to have the Autumn Equinox which usually means a transition, a cleanse, a season of new foods to choose from for your diet. If you haven’t already noticed, one of my niche’s with clients is to make sure they are aware of cleansing their bodies through herbs, fibers and probiotics. I’m gearing up myself to do a juice cleanse + above. You do have to make a plan and stick to it, remember no vascillation, it’s determination which I’ve posted on before.
I always get asked can you cleanse too much? It’s a tricky question, because almost anything too much can be out of balance. But traditionally four times per year, at the change of the seasons is typically a good routine. It’s interesting as I had a client ask me that she heard too much cleansing can rid your intestine of healthy bacteria. Well, who really knows. We have millions, no billions of these little bacteria in our system so honestly, it’s highly unlikely you’d wipe out your healthy flora. And new bacteria are always growing depending on what you feed your body.
A side bar note since I’ve brought up probiotics. In this day and age of contaminated food on those rare occasions, I do suggest clients regulary take a probiotic. So many reasons which I’m not going to go into here, but it’s so healthy for you. If you want to know more you can find me on my web site.
Until then think about doing a 3 day cleanse, maybe 7 or maybe even 21, the magic number to breaking patterns. Now eat something healthy the next time you put a bite of food in your mouth.
