Prozac or Nutrition
We are not deficient in prozac. Why oh why oh why do we keep handing out the drugs to mask the symptoms. Certainly if there is a crisis, such as a death, divorce, horrific experience one must get through and the drug can be forward moving. BUT don’t you think too many people are following a fad???
I heard on the radio today anti depressants are up. I mean the percentage of people on anti depressants is growing. Listen, I’m certainly aware of our economy and loss of jobs and how that can effect one’s moods and feelings. Did I ever tell you I’ve been fired twice, out of the blue, and within the same month as my mother died? Don’t want to be morose, but can I just say, I know what hard times are. And when they happen ladies and gentlemen I want you to work harder at being healthier and getting through tough times. There are foods, supplements, and lifestyle factors which contribute to positive chemicals formed in our brains and bodies. Can you say endorphins?
The best chemicals next to the love chemicals from relationships, chocolate, oysters et al, that also make us feel great. Endorphins through intense exercise are the best.
This month is about chemicals, whether they are bad or good, I’m going to talk about chemicals. We are full of them and it’s more and more important to know which are good and bad. And by the way, which companies are promoting good or bad chemicals.
I’m on the verge of talking about splenda, good or bad? Obviously you know which way I’m going. If there’s one thing you’ll learn about my posts, it’s hard for me to keep my feelings about what’s healthy for you, and what’s out there to sell you a bad apple.
So until then, eat whole and strive to be chemical free this month of August
