Florida Fresh Orange Juice-Is it Good? Or not?
I just have a minute to write and maybe more later. It’s funny how life works sometimes. I was shopping at my local grocery store and on the loudspeaker, of all things it was talking about Florida Orange Juice for getting your days intake of vitamin C. It put a smile on my face as I had just written about vitamin C yesterday and forgot to mention something this loudspeaker reminded me of to tell you.
Eat the whole fruit! Eat the whole vegetable and forget the bottled juices when you can, and hopefully that’s the majority of the time. So when I was telling you yesterday or I should say suggesting to you yesterday to get some vitamin C I definitely meant through foods(which I mentioned at the end of my post).
Now, having said that, I do love fresh juiced juices. The best for getting live enzymes, antioxidants, vitamins and minerals. And I always suggest doing mainly vegetable juices and sometimes adding an apple.
Ok, why you ask am I not a fan of bottled juices? Well, what’s left? There’s no fiber to slow the release of sugar into your system, there’s no live enzymes which are so great for energy, and pretty much it’s devoid of vitamins. That is of course if they are fortifying with vitamins.
So I would much, much rather you eat an orange, eat berries, eat bell peppers, and do what else you can to learn foods high in C. No High C drinks for you.
One plug(remember I work for no company) is I do like Emergen C. Yes, there is some sweetener, but it’s great for getting high amounts of c if you need it.
