The Juice or the Whole Fruit and Vegetable
A lot of clients would like to do a juice fast. I’ve written about juice fasting a bit as a quick weight loss advantage, BUT let me mention the difference vs whole food. It’s the fiber. I’m sure if you’ve ever had a juicer and juice up a vegetable drink you feel like oh my god, this is so much work to clean the juicer. Well, that’s because all that pulp in your juicer is the fiber from the vegetables and fruit.
I would much prefer you eat the whole fruit and vegetable and learn how to really include them in your diet. I know everybody is busy, but this is your health and beauty medicine. Hippocrates who sat around the Planetree and taught students health has a famous quote “let food be thy medicine”.
I completely choose my food this way as much as possible throughout the day. So for me to chop up cauliflower, carrots, beets, swiss chard, red bell peppers quickly in the morning and steam them, I’m thinking eyes, skin, hormones, bones, teeth, thin(LOL), all the above to keep me motivated. Does that motivate you? And if not……….
FIND what motivates you to better health. I know this post was to be on fiber, but without you being motivated to eat healthier, how am I going to get you to eat what I’m asking. Is it being healthy for your children, your partner, your work, looking good in your clothes, keeping your body healthy, FIND IT! This will help and support you when it comes to choosing your foods.
What motivates me? Helping and educating people to really learn what keeps your body healthy. I remain independent from any group, corporation or agency so I speak from a neutral place rich with experience and a lot of passion. I don’t want you to get sick and certainly do not want you to get a dis ease which is preventable through diet, and lifestyle.
