Fat Vs Thin

I can’t seem to get off this subject of fatty acids. Remember I said they are my favorite category of supplements for beauty, weight management, brains and body health.

This leads me back to fish and your choices in the marketplace. I was walking with a friend and went into a local beauty store to find the Perricone products. I’ve watched Dr Perricone utilize supplements and nutrition to write his latest books and was curious to look at his products again. I’ve seen them in Neiman Marcus too for the ungodly prices he charges.  More on this subject.

These products are way over priced and I’m hoping you don’t succumb to a name for a bottle of fish oil at $37.00 a bottle. Oh my god, I said to my friend. I don’t even carry fish oil products for that amount. And if I did it would be a two month supply and not a 2 week supply. Oh Perricone, I know you need to pay for marketing and branding, but your fish oil is no better than other pharmaceutical brands. Please don’t be fooled.

But what I do like is he does tout the youthful skin, wrinkle cure, weight management and heart benefits. So ladies and gentlemen as I know you can be just as vain, don’t get reeled into paying so much for packaging. Certainly make sure you have a high quality brand of fish oil but know you don’t have to pay for the marketing too.

I take the best fish oil supplement on the market. I’ve done the research, read the  technology, and checked the source for the best.  Guess what?  I don’t pay or sell near that price.  And on that thought, the flax seeds he sells is way over priced too. Just had to say. I’ve just been in this industry so long when I see the hype I have to expose.
